This philosophy is what inspired her graduation thesis, in which she examines exercise as an alternative treatment to depression.
Her years as a trainer have taught her that there are a lot of misconceptions when it comes to fitness and exercise. Not all fitness experts are the same, and, with her articles, she hopes to show some light on controversial topics and demonstrates that exercise is for everyone.
Though many of her clients have the same goals, they often need different approaches to reach them. That’s because everyone is different, and what helps one person lose weight or gain muscle might not help another. She focuses on giving all of her clients individualized exercise programs and nutrition advice.
And it’s this knowledge that she hopes to add to our magazine, as well. Her exercise programs are both fun and effective, and they guarantee results. She also knows just what to say to get you pumped, perfect for when you’re not feeling super motivated.
Outside of exercise, Deborah is passionate about tattoos. It’s definitely her trademark. Good food is also one of her favourite pastimes, as well as curling up with a good book.
