Matcha Pancakes
Your superfood breakfast
Eat your greens! These green matcha pancakes make breakfast into the most interesting meal of the day. There’s never been as many nutrients in a breakfast before. The proteins and antioxidants along with matcha’s dose of caffeine will get your engines revving.
Preparation

Add the Protein Pancakes mix, matcha powder and Flavor Kick to a bowl. Mix well.

Add the milk and whisk until a smooth batter is formed.

Heat the coconut oil in a pan over medium heat until it melts. Pour the pancake batter into 4 equally-sized pancakces.

Serve the matcha pancakes with the toppings of your choice.

What is matcha?
Matcha is ground green tea. The powder is popular in Japan, where it is mixed with hot water and enjoyed as a tea. Another favorite use is in a matcha latte, which is a matcha tea mixed with hot or cold milk. Matcha's high caffeine content gives it a stimulating effect. But apart from the energy boost, matcha also contains healthy vitamins and antioxidants, making it a real superfood.
