Dosage & Preparation

Use a spoon to stir the content of the tub thoroughly to evenly distribute the flakes, nuts and berries. Measure 60 g (approx. 6 table spoons) and mix it with milk, a milk drink or juice.

Recipe: Protein muesli peanut cookie

Protein muesli peanut cookie

Ingredients for 8-10 medium large cookies

100 g Protein Muesli, 1 ripe banana, 3 tbsp soaked chia seeds, 2 tsp peanut butter

Nutritional information (per 100 g)

288 kcal, carbohydrates: 22 g, fat: 12 g, protein: 18 g

Preparation
  • Soak 3 tbsp chia seeds in 6 tbsp of water for 10 minutes.
  • Mash the banana in a bowl.
  • Add all the other ingredients to the banana and mix well.
  • Preheat the oven to 160°C
  • Shape the cookies and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Bake for approx. 30-40 minutes. Turn the cookies after 15-20 minutes.

Tip

Pierce the cookies with a knife after about 15 minutes to see if they are done.

Recipe: Overnight muesli

Overnight muesli

Ingredients for one portion

50 g Protein Muesli, 100 ml milk of your choice, 100 g fresh berries of your choice, 10 g organic protein or Vegan Protein Vanilla

*when prepared with cow milk (1.5%) and foodspring Protein.

Preparation
  • Pour the milk over the Protein Muesli and mix well.
  • Add your mixed berries to the oats.
  • Add a protein powder of your choice.
  • Cover and leave to soak in the fridge overnight.
  • Stir and then dig in the next day.

Tip

If you are not a fan of berries, you can also use banana in your overnight muesli.

Recipe: Protein muesli salad

Protein muesli salad

Ingredients for one portion

60 g lamb’s lettuce, ½ beetroot (fresh or boiled), ½ carrot, 1 fresh fig, 30 g Protein Muesli, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp coconut oil

Nutritional information (per 100 g)

185 kcal, carbohydrates: 8 g, fat: 14 g, protein: 4 g

Preparation
  • Wash your lamb’s lettuce.
  • Grate and mix your carrot and beetroot.
  • Chop the fig into small pieces.
  • Mix your lamb’s lettuce with the beetroot and carrot mixture and garnish with the chopped fig.
  • Heat the coconut oil in a pan. Roast the protein muesli for around 30-60 seconds, while stirring continuously.
  • Spread the roasted protein muesli over your lamb’s lettuce salad.
  • Refine with olive oil.

Organic Protein Muesli by foodspring is based on fine flakes sourced from German and Austrian-grown organic soy beans. These are grown and processed exclusively on a family-run organic farm near Lake Constance. The beneficial micro climate in the region is uniquely suitable for growing soy on extra fertile soil. The production and manufacturing process - from sowing to the end product - is closely monitored by the employees of Hofgut Storzeln to ensure compliance with the high quality requirements for organic certification in Germany.

The processes of local farming to strict Bioland guidelines are at the heart of the high product quality soy cultivated in Germany and in the Austrian Burgenland region. Bioland certification means foregoing factory farming, chemical fertilisers and pesticides.

The special production process for the fine soy flakes ensures a particularly high protein content in our muesli. As an added bonus, the soy beans are gently de-oiled and their fat content is reduced by up to 80%. The low glycaemic index of the soy flakes makes our protein muesli an excellent helper for well-balanced weight-loss diets.
